I am a native of Buffalo, New York. After receiving a BFA in painting from the SUNY College at Brockport, I continued and earned a MFA in painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art. I am also the product of 10 years of study at the free school, MollyOlga Art School, in Western NY. For more than twenty years, I have painted figurative works in a unique style that incorporates vibrant color, design and form. In 2007, I launched the traveling exhibition COMPASSION, which explored the common principles, found in Judaism, Islam and Christianity. Without gallery representation, I secured three exhibition venues in three different cities. I obtained state funding and corporate sponsorship to produce a full color catalog, art cards, and a poster in conjunction with the exhibition. My current series is a series of portraits called Perspicacity.
